Prostate tumors

Indications:

• the patient is somatically burdened, he cannot perform a radical prostatectomy;
  
• with local recurrence of prostate cancer after previous radical methods of prostate cancer treatment;
  
• in the presence of technical difficulties to perform the RP;
  
• patients who, after familiarizing themselves with all treatment options, chose HIFU therapy.

Contraindications:

• germination into the bladder;
  
• lack of acoustic access.

Preoperative examination:

• ultrasound, CT or MRI + mandatory biopsy;
  
• PSA;
  
• the standard examination program for cancer, depending on the histology and stage.

Preparation:

• standard examination for narcosis.
